You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day transactional needs for the US supplier base. You will work closely with the Procurement Manager and Head of Finance to ensure routine operations are maintained to a high standard. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to develop processes that support supplier performance monitoring.
This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid work-from-home policy.
The salary range for this position is $70,000 – $80,000 annually.
Preferred Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
- Extensive experience in a procurement function.
- Experience in supplier management and negotiations.
- CIPS qualified at level 4+ or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Strong understanding of procurement principles.
- Experience in benchmarking and negotiating VFM.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to supervise and develop team members.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and SharePoint.
Main Responsibilities
- Supervising the Procurement Administrators and managing their performance.
- Facilitating supplier reviews and ensuring best available service.
- Reviewing and re-negotiating existing catalogue prices quarterly.
- Initiating local benchmarking activity and sourcing alternatives.
- Supporting management with the roll-out of new processes.
- Ensuring all supplier performance issues are logged and escalated.
- Providing reports and feedback to the Procurement Manager.
