This role will be responsible for casting and booking talent across all Overtime content. This includes, but is not limited to podcasts, live broadcasts, hosts and influencers. This person will need to have a thorough understanding of the most prominent voices in the digital sports landscape with a focus on Gen Z.
What you'll do:
Knowledge and Research
- Qualified candidates will constantly be immersed in the digital sports world to understand which up-and-coming athletes are garnering attention. This includes researching AAU, high school sports and 7-on-7 football. It also entails understanding social media trends and spotting potential influencers before they hit the mainstream.
Talent Booking
- Extensive experience connecting with talent/athletes/influencers from the sports world and an ability to quickly book for opportunities at Overtime.
Casting Flexibility
- A key part of the role will entail casting weekly talent for projects currently in production. However, we will also look to this position to help us book additional talent. This includes, but is it not limited to finding talent on social media who can potentially work full time for Overtime.
- It also includes booking talent to be the subject of our long-form documentary shows, some of which are branded. The position will heavily be involved in helping us build out an Overtime talent roster.
In Office / Remote Work
Position is based out of our Brooklyn office and required to travel when necessary for our remote productions.
Overtime anticipates the salary range for this role to be roughly between 90-100k range. Salary will be dependent on years of experience.
