Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP ABAP Technical Developer with strong hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANAto design, develop, test, and support high-quality technical solutions. This role will focus on supporting and enhancing our SAP environment through custom development, performance optimization, and integration work across modules, ensuring alignment with business requirements and SAP best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Custom Development: Design, develop, and maintain custom programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms using ABAP in SAP S/4HANA environment.
• S/4HANA-Specific Development: Leverage CDS views, AMDP, OData services, and Fiori/UI5 integration for modern application development.
• Integration: Work with SAP PI/PO, APIs, and middleware to integrate SAP with other enterprise applications.
• Performance Optimization: Conduct code reviews, optimize performance for S/4HANA compatibility, and follow SAP clean core principles.
• Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Testing & Deployment: Support unit testing, integration testing, and production deployments; resolve defects efficiently.
• Documentation: Maintain technical documentation in line with project and support requirements.
• Support & Troubleshooting: Provide technical support for incidents, troubleshoot issues, and deliver timely solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Experience:
• 5+ years of SAP ABAP development experience, with at least 2+ years in SAP S/4HANA projects.
• Proven experience with Core ABAP, Object-Oriented ABAP, ALV, BAPIs, BADIs, Enhancements, and User Exits.
• Experience with S/4HANA-specific tools: CDS views, AMDP, OData, and Fiori/UI5 integration.
• Strong understanding of SAP modules (MM, SD, FI, PP, WM/EWM) and cross-functional processes.
• Technical Skills:
• ABAP RESTful Programming Model (RAP)
• SAP Gateway, OData service creation and consumption
• Debugging and performance tuning in S/4HANA
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP Cloud Platform (BTP) and SAP API Management.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery methodology.
• Knowledge of Test Automation and DevOps tools in SAP ecosystem.
