Opportunity:

As part of the Riddell Research and Development Team, you will play a key role in testing and analyzing results that will aide in the development of world class protective products.  You will be part of the group that develops advanced technologies such as Smart Sensors, additive manufacturing and 3D scanning.  We are looking for a creative individual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills who can immerse themselves into the details of the test results to help find solutions to complicated problems.

What you’ll do:

  • Prepare materials and samples for testing, inspecting each item in detail.
  • Conduct helmet and material testing using various test methods and equipment such as NOCSAE, Tensile, Compression-Deflection, Taber, and others.
  • Prepare technical reports that summarize findings and recommend solutions to technical problems
  • Identify opportunities to streamline test procedures to improve efficiency
  • Update and maintain testing database
  • Organize and catalog previous test samples for future evaluation
  • Write procedures for new test methodologies
  • Learn how to monitor and maintain test equipment
  • Design and fabricate test fixtures

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • 0-3 years of work experience
  • Experience with lab equipment and shop tools
  • Experience with data analysis tools
  • Strong organizational skills and acute attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a team environment

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience with Microsoft Access and Power Bi
  • Experience with MatLab and LabView
  • 3D CAD knowledge a plus
