The Richmond Kickers Pro Soccer Club, an independent USL League One team located in Richmond, VA, is actively seeking a motivated Manager of Stadium Operations to oversee all facility operations at City Stadium as well as help curate a first-class experience for all events held at the venue. This role will report directly to the Director of Stadium Partnerships.
Oversee day to day operations at City Stadium such as facility operations, facility maintenance, playing surface (grass field), game day logistics and equipment management.
Handle the required field mowing/lining and proper placement of equipment for the playing field for each Kickers home match, including, but not limited to: benches, goals, corner flags, game balls, sideline products, beverages, and additional team needs.
Manage set-up/take down of sponsorship-related field and stadium signage from match to match and year to year.
Direct operations for matches and non-matchday events, including but not limited to field/stadium prep and breakdown, staff, security, and volunteers.
Oversee day-to-day facility staff, such as hourly assistants and interns.
Communicate with USL Officials regarding stadium policies and game day policies/procedures, including but not limited to: supporter groups, traveling fan information, matchday staff, etc.
Implement and maintain emergency plans and evacuation procedures, in coordination with local emergency services. Monitor weather during games and prepare for any inclement weather, including communicating with staff and league officials.
Manage stadium budget for maintenance and capital improvements/projects for City Stadium.
Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly venue for pro teams, attending fans and patrons of non-matchday events.
Serve as the liaison for stadium partners, such as landscaping, signage, and more.

2+ years of stadium facility experience preferred with a proven record of performance and customer service that consistently meets and exceeds standards set by management.
Evidence of being a strategic thinker and problem solver with the ability to develop and implement processes and plans.
An excellent communicator with outstanding work ethic, attention to detail, and handiness.
Prior sports and entertainment industry experience is a plus, but not required
Ability to work flexible hours, including but not limited to evenings, weekends and holidays.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
