Job Overview
The Team Operations and Equipment Intern will be responsible for assisting the Club with all aspects of team operations to support the Technical Staff in all phases of the game during competitions for Rhode Island FC, a men’s pro soccer club playing in the USL Championship. 
This position is for a fall internship.  The approximate dates are August 15-30th, 2026 through November 27, 2026.
 
Educational Experience
·        Must be currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program and eligible to receive college credit.  
·        This internship is for college credit only and is limited to no more than 28 hours per week. 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
·        Assist with general daily administration of the club.
·        Assist with player/trialist transportation.
·        Assist with team travel and logistics planning .
·        Assist with equipment preparation for game days.
·        Assist with setting up locker rooms.
·        Assist with general player support.
·        Assist with daily preparation for training with Technical Staff, players, and support staff.
·        Assist with meal set up for players.
·        Other duties assigned.
 
Qualifications
·        Preferred Proficiency in Microsoft applications and knowledge of current technologies
·        Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred

Physical Requirements:
·        Ability to lift 25 pounds in order to move field equipment to and from storage and around the field.
·        Ability to walk, bend, stand, kneel and reach for extended periods throughout the day.
