About Centreville Bank Stadium
Centreville Bank Stadium is a state-of-the-art, 100 percent electric, soccer-specific stadium on the banks of the Seekonk River. Named Best New Venue of 2025 by SportsTravel Magazine, Centreville Bank Stadium is the flagship destination for sports and entertainment in the Ocean State. Embedded in the Rhode Island community and the official home of the Rhode Island FC, the multi-use venue hosts concerts, sporting events, corporate outings, and cultural festivals year-round.

Position Summary:
We are seeking hardworking and passionate individuals to join our Matchday Operations Staff for the 2026 USL Championship season at Rhode Island FC. This part-time role is an excellent opportunity for candidates interested in sports management and event operations to gain hands-on experience in a professional sports environment. 

Members of the Matchday Operations Staff will support pre-event and post-event conversions, overall stadium logistics and operational needs, and matchday requests from teams and officials.  Individuals may take on several different roles during matches, including, but not limited to:
-          Home Team Liaison
-          Visiting Team Liaison
-          Match Officials Liaison
-          Red Hat
-          Stretcher Crew
-          Field Marshal
-          Field Watering Crew
Members of the Matchday Operations Staff may also have the opportunity to work additional stadium events, as needed based on scheduled programming.  

Qualifications
  • Passion for sports/soccer and an interest in sports/event management.
  • Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and potentially long hours/late nights in various weather conditions, as required by the event schedule.
    • Must be able to work at least 75% of scheduled home games for the 2026 Rhode Island FC season. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Comfortable being on your feet for extended periods and performing physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Punctuality, reliability, and a positive attitude are essential.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and eligible to work in the US.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, bachelor’s degree or current college student preferred. 
Knowledge of soccer (preferred).
