POSITION SUMMARY
Rhode Island FC is seeking an Equipment Manager to manage the daily operations of the club’s First Team equipment needs for both players and staff. Rhode Island FC is a men’s professional soccer club playing in the USL Championship.  Reporting to the Director of Team Operations, this position is for a year-round employee; the Equipment Manager will attend all training sessions, scrimmages, treatment sessions, as well as all home and away games. 
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
·       Oversees the day-to-day management and preparation of all equipment needs for First Team players and staff.
·       Establishes, maintains, and reconciles uniform and equipment inventories.
·       Oversees the maintenance of all inventory records for the First Team.
·       Supervises the day-to-day equipment set-up, breakdown, and operation of all First Team training sessions.
·       Works closely with Technical Staff to prepare for training, games, and team activities.
·       Coordinates with technical, medical, and administrative staff to ensure that all travel logistics related to equipment 
(gear, uniforms, laundry, airport transfers, luggage, etc.) are organized.
·       Manages the equipment set-up and operation of all First Team games, both home and away, including league and friendly matches.
·       Works with the Director of Team Operations on all equipment aspects of player onboarding and player operations.
·       Follows and operates within the First Team equipment budget under the direction of the Director of Team Operations.
·       Manages the club apparel provider budget for the First Team, working closely with the Director of Team Operations.
·       Ensures compliance with Club policies and code of conduct.
·       Ensures compliance with League rules and regulations.
·       Works with the sponsorship and marketing departments to support fulfillment of partner contracts as related to equipment.
·       Attends all activities, meetings, and programs as required by the League.
·       Performs other duties as assigned or required by the Club.
 
QUALIFICATIONS
·       Bachelor’s degree or High School diploma/GED.
·       Previous experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
·       Experience working in soccer or professional sports.
·       Experience working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
·       Must be willing to travel for business – weekend work and travel is necessary.
·       Proficiency with Microsoft applications and current technologies preferred.
·       Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
·       Ability to lift and carry equipment frequently throughout the workday; must be capable of lifting fifty (50) pounds of weight alone.
·       Ability to walk, bend, stand, and reach throughout the workday and participate in sustained activities for extended periods in accordance with applicable labor laws.
