About the Role

Rhode Island FC and Centreville Stadium are seeking a driven, strategic, and relationship-focused Account Executive, New Business Development to join our growing Ticket Sales & Service team. In this high-impact role, you’ll be responsible for generating new ticket revenue by identifying and closing B2C and B2B opportunities for Rhode Island’s newest sports and entertainment venue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively sell ticket packages, including full season, partial plans, premium seating, and group tickets.
  • Meet and exceed weekly KPIs for outbound sales activity, including calls, emails, meetings, and presentations.
  • Conduct regular in-person meetings with corporate prospects to build long-term relationships and close deals.
  • Maintain accurate records and sales pipeline in CRM software.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to build and execute strategic sales plans.
  • Work all home games and other events, including international matches, concerts, and community engagements.
  • Negotiate pricing and contracts within established guidelines.
  • Mentor junior staff or interns as needed.
  • Deliver insightful sales reports and revenue forecasts to leadership.
Qualifications

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
  • 1–3 years of sales experience, preferably in sports, entertainment, or hospitality.
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Self-starter with a team-first mindset and relentless drive to succeed.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; able to learn CRM systems quickly.
Preferred:
  • Experience in sports ticket sales.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics CRM and/or SeatGeek.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
Work Environment
  • This is a full-time, on-site position in Rhode Island.
  • Evening, weekend, and holiday availability required, based on event and game schedules.
