Position Summary
The VP of Revenue will oversee USL Spokane’s core revenue-generating functions, including Ticketing and Corporate Partnerships. This role leads a team of direct reports and is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive revenue strategy that drives growth across the company. Key responsibilities include optimizing sales performance, identifying and securing new partnership opportunities, and building strong, lasting relationships with fans and corporate sponsors to maximize retention and long-term engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Leadership
- Develop and execute the club’s overall revenue strategy focused on ticket sales, group experiences, premium seating, and corporate partnerships.
- Set and manage annual revenue goals, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability.
- Collaborate with the marketing and operations teams to align promotional campaigns and fan engagement efforts with revenue objectives.
Ticketing
- Oversee all ticketing operations, including season tickets, group sales, premium inventory, and individual match sales.
- Implement sales campaigns, CRM practices, dynamic pricing models, and performance tracking systems to drive growth and retention.
- Lead the creation of exceptional customer experiences that maximize fan loyalty and attendance.
Sponsorship & Partnerships
- Lead the strategy, sales, and execution of all partnership programs and sponsor activations.
- Research and build relationships with local and regional companies/brands to highlight the advantages of investing in Professional Men’s and Women’s soccer. Utilizes creativity, innovation, and research to identify corporate partnerships for USL Spokane.
- Develop new sponsorship packages that align with brand positioning and partner goals.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with corporate partners, ensuring value delivery and renewal.
- Mentor and train Partnership team members and other members of the fulfillment team as they grow in sales.
Team Leadership & Development
- Directly manage and support a revenue team of ~7 across sales and client services.
- Recruit, train, and mentor team members to create a high-performance, collaborative culture.
- Establish clear KPIs, reporting structures, and incentive systems to ensure accountability and motivation.
- Cross-functional Collaboration
- Serve as a key member of the leadership team, providing insight on market trends, fan behavior, and business opportunities.
- Partner with marketing, community relations, and game day operations to ensure a cohesive, revenue-aligned fan experience.
Budgeting & Reporting
- Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and revenue reports.
- Analyze trends and recommend adjustments to strategies and staffing plans.
Game Day Responsibilities
- Act as an ambassador of USL Spokane, delivering high-touch experiences to fans, sponsors, and VIP guests.
- Assist other departments as needed to ensure successful game-day operations.
Compensation and Benefits
- Exempt position with salary range of $110,000 - $120,000
- Performance-based incentives tied to ticketing and partnership revenue targets (approximate total annual compensation projected up to $200k)

Minimum Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in sports or entertainment revenue generation, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Demonstrated success in ticketing and/or sponsorship sales, preferably in a startup or growth-stage organization.
- Proven ability to build and manage a high-performing sales team.
- Strong understanding of CRM systems, data-driven decision-making, and B2B/B2C sales strategy.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Experience in soccer or within the USL ecosystem is a plus.

Physical Requirements:
· Work is performed primarily in an office setting.

Working Conditions
