Pro-Soccer Internship - Fall 2026

- Soccer Operations (2)
- Assist Operations Coordinator in office
- Instruct/manage ball retrievers throughout matches
- Set up/take down of scorer's table, and aid in walkout items pre/post-match
- Assist match officials on gamedays, escort them to and from car, help with security of officials
- Assist staff with internal operations at club
- Equipment Management (1)
- Assist equipment manager during training with setting up field, adjusting items during practice retrieving balls, etc
- Assist equipment staff setting up the locker room before training and matchdays
- Assist equipment staff with laundry after training and matches
- Match Day & Show Assistance (1-2)
- Assist in building the run of show, synching PA reads, video board cues, field LED, and audio.
- Write and edit the PA script so every sponsor read, in game moment, and league mandated element is completed.
- Coordinate on field activations like National Anthem, pre-match performances, and halftime performances.
- Work matchday from inside the booth, running the in-stadium soundboard and helping call the live show cue-by-cue.
- Marketing

- Ideating social media promotions
- Assisting in setup and take down of game day activations, as well as assisting the social media team as needed.
- Assist the marketing team in creating holistic marketing promotions for each game day theme from email concept, to social media promotions, and community outreach.
- Graphic Design (1)
- Create social media graphics to communicate store closures, match day information, promotions, etc
- Work with graphic designers to create promotional flyers, templates, and emails for the ticketing team to utilize in sales outreach.
- Brainstorm new and engaging design concepts to test
- Research and stay up to date with the creativity and promotions of other teams not only within USL League One, but across other leagues and sporting types.
- Videography (1)
- Film key promotional footage such as player interviews, match day action footage, social media promotions, etc.
- Edit together promotional videos based on footage shot.
- Assist the social media team in creating new engaging videos that capture follower/community attention.
- PR/Writing (1)
- Assist the PR team in writing match previews and post-match press releases
- Help conduct post-match team & media interviews
- Assist in brainstorming new ways to get in front of new fans via news broadcast, podcasts, etc.
- General (1-2)

- Prospecting & research
- Lead Generation
- Outbound sales support
- Gameday sales assistance
- Gameday experience assistance - Seat location, on-field experiences, Kid Zone support

- Evaluate current community partnerships and deliverables
- Create assets for gameday or event activations
- Assist with planning and coordination of events (community, season ticket members, etc.)
- Serve as a liaison with community and corporate partners at gameday
Time: Interns must commit to a minimum 3 month window and be available to work ALL game days from August - November 2026 (some exceptions may apply depending on school schedule and prior written notice of an approved absence).

- Interns must attend every Spokane Velocity FC home game (listed below) within their commitment window, + additional pre-game meeting office hours (unless pre-approved absence).

- Interns will attend pre-game prep meetings & have regularly scheduled front-office hours.

- Computer proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication skills and telephone etiquette.
- Ability to stay organized, work independently, multi-task, and handle a variety of projects.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
Requirements for consideration:
- College-applicable internship credits
- Reliable transportation to One Spokane Stadium and front office in Downtown Spokane.
