Position Summary 
We are seeking a Game Day Producer who will lead and elevate the overall fan experience for Spokane Zephyr FC and Spokane Velocity FC matches, ensuring every aspect of gameday drives strong fan engagement and satisfaction. During the off-season, the Game Day Producer will focus on strengthening fan connection, enhancing engagement initiatives, and developing strategic plans that build momentum and excitement heading into the next season. 
  
You will lead and produce Zephyr and Velocity full-season game presentation strategy, from pre-match through post-match, aligning with theme nights, club traditions, partner activations, and ticketing initiatives. You’ll be responsible for elevating the fan experience through engaging storytelling, live entertainment, and seamless production execution. You will demonstrate a commitment to building relationships and have a high degree of initiative and passion for engaging a diverse group of people.  This role is both highly creative and operationally focused, requiring strong leadership in live event production, cross-department collaboration, control room operations, and year-round creative planning and project management. The position reports directly to the VP of Ticketing and Fan Engagement. 
 
Key or Essential Functions 
To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the key duties listed below. The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to the following: 
 
Game Presentation Leadership  
  • Own the development and execution of the Zephyr FC and Velocity FC matchday experiences across all elements: pregame, in-match, halftime, and postgame – creating a WOW factor that keeps fans coming and increases the fanbase. 
  • Build and maintain a season-long game presentation plan that integrates theme nights, group experiences, promotions, and evolving fan traditions.  
  • Call and direct all home matches, commanding control room operations and ensuring cohesive delivery across lighting, sound, video, graphics, and live entertainment.  
  • Train, schedule, and manage game day staff (including interns). Responsible for managing on-field activities, live promotions, and in-match entertainment. 
  • Develop staffing plans (including interns) and run-of-show assignments that align with match programming and operational needs.  
  • Coordinate and motivate in-stadium talent (music, in-match host, PA Announcer), hype crew, and control room staff ensuring high standards of execution and communication.  
  
Planning & Coordination  
  • Write and manage detailed game scripts, including creative copy for talent and cueing across departments (PA, music, lighting, video, performance, partnerships).  
  • Lead match production meetings and serve as the central point of coordination across internal departments and external vendors.  
  • Collaborate with Partnerships, Ticketing, and Marketing teams to integrate sponsor activations, promotions, and fan experiences into matchday plans.  
  • Oversee timelines and delivery of all production assets (graphics, videos, sponsor elements). 
  • Partner with venue control room staff to test, load, and troubleshoot all technical content ahead of matchdays.  
  • Work closely with the Soccer Operations team to align logistics for all in-match entertainment, ensuring compliance with stadium requirements, safety protocols, and timelines.  
  • Coordinate with the USL and other league representatives to ensure compliance and alignment with all league-wide initiatives, brand campaigns, and match presentation guidelines.  
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to concept and deliver all in-stadium graphics, ensuring visual consistency and alignment with club branding and themes.  
  
Fan Experience & Innovation 
  • Partner with Ticketing, Community Engagement, and Partnerships to identify and develop new opportunities that create memorable fan moments, strengthen community connection, and support ticketing and fan-engagement goals both during the season and in the off-season. 
  • Build strong relationships with Zephyr FC and Velocity FC supporter groups and fan collectives to foster collaboration, elevate the matchday atmosphere, and create shared traditions that celebrate and grow club culture year-round.

Minimum Qualifications 
A combination or accumulation of applicable work-related experience and/or education may be recognized as sufficiently meeting the requirements based upon educational programs and specific experience.   
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, public relations, or related field strongly preferred.  
  • Minimum of 5 years of live event coordination, entertainment production, or other relevant experience managing strict timelines with multiple stakeholders is required. 
  • Project management is of the utmost importance to be successful in this role.   
  • Must be able to hold people accountable and provide feedback quickly and succinctly.  
  • Proven ability to build respectful working relationships and effectively communicate with employees, management, vendors, contractors, and community partners.  Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional team.   
  • Creative thinker with experience generating new business ideas and creative solutions. 
  • Demonstrates superior customer service skills by ensuring each interaction leaves the individual feeling heard, appreciated, understood, and valued. 
  • Ability to pass comprehensive background check including a motor vehicle report.   
  • Ability to pass Safesport training.   
  • Possess and maintain a current and valid driver’s license and maintain legally required insurance.   
 
Compensation and Benefits
  • Non-Exempt position with pay range of $28-32/hr, commensurate with experience.
  • Vacation and paid sick leave (prorated sick leave the first year of employment).

Physical Requirements: 
  • Work is performed primarily in an office setting and in a sports stadium during game days. 
  • Ability to work with moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and / or loud noise while performing work in the field and at the stadium.  
  • Essential position functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to:  
  • Stand and walk for prolonged periods of time 
  • Regularly talk, hear 
  • Occasionally sit, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist 
  • Lift, carry, push, and /or pull moderate t heavy amounts of weight up to 50 pounds 
  • Operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard with ability to grasp and reach 
  • And utilize verbal and written communication to exchange information 
 
Working Conditions 
While performing the essential job functions, the employee may experience the following conditions:

  • Deadlines and goals may generate stress. 
  • Ability to work long days and on feet on game days.  
  • Noise Conditions: exposed to noise consistent with sports stadium on a regular basis; exposed to loud noise regularly. 
  • Heat / Cold: May be subject to heat, cold, wet and / or humid weather conditions, and occasionally extreme heat and /or cold. 
  • Atmospheric Exposure: Typical sports stadium environment conditions. 
  • Injury Exposure: May be exposed to mechanical equipment in a stadium such as lifts.
