Lexington Sporting Club is seeking a dynamic and experienced Food & Beverage General Manager to lead all aspects of food and beverage operations for our club. This role is critical in delivering an exceptional guest experience through high-quality culinary offerings, efficient service, and innovative hospitality strategies. 

The F&B General Manager will have full operational and financial oversight, oversee concessions, catering, premium areas, and vendor relationships, ensuring alignment with the club’s brand, financial objectives, operational and long-term growth goals.

Responsibilities

Operations & Game Day Execution
  • Oversee daily operations of all food and beverage outlets within the stadium.
  • Collaborate closely with stadium operations, events, and matchday teams to plan and execute food and beverage services for games and special events.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.
  • Maintain consistently high standards of service, presentation, and cleanliness across all F&B touchpoints.
Premium Hospitality
  • Lead planning and execution of all premium services for matchdays, private events, and corporate functions.
  • Manage food and beverage operations for VIP suites, club lounges, and other premium hospitality areas.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external clients to deliver customized catering and hospitality solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.
  • Oversee menu development, staffing, and logistics to ensure timely service and elevated guest experiences.
Financial & Vendor Management
  • Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and cost controls for all food and beverage operations.
  • Monitor revenue streams and implement strategies to maximize profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Manage inventory, procurement, and vendor contracts, including food, beverage, and service partners.
  • Leverage POS, inventory, and reporting systems to inform decision-making and performance improvements. (Toast, ExtraChef, etc.)
Leadership & Culture
  • Recruit, train, develop, and supervise all food and beverage staff, including concessions workers, supervisors, and catering teams.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide visible leadership during events and support staff in delivering outstanding service.
  • Address guest feedback and resolve service issues promptly and professionally.

Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in food and beverage management, preferably in a sports or entertainment venue.
  • Proven Experience managing large-scale catering operations and premium hospitality services
  • Proven leadership and team-building skills.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience with POS and inventory systems. (Toast/ExtraChef experience preferred.)
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • ServSafe certification or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with stadium or arena operations and event-based service models.
  • Culinary background or experience working with executive chefs and menu development.
  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience with sustainability initiatives and local sourcing practices.
Work Environment
  • Fast-paced, high-energy setting during events, often with large crowds
  • Exposure to loud noise levels from fans, music, and stadium announcements
  • Frequent standing, walking, and lifting throughout extended shifts (typically 5–8 hours)
  • Indoor and outdoor work locations depending on concession stand location (weather exposure may apply)
  • Work around hot food equipment such as fryers, grills, ovens, and warmers
  • Periodic work in refrigerated or cold storage areas for inventory management
  • Use of cleaning chemicals and exposure to food allergens
  • Team-oriented atmosphere with frequent interaction with customers and coworkers
  • Required to wear a uniform and maintain a clean, professional appearance
  • Event-based scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
