Overview:
The Chattanooga Red Wolves are seeking a driven, detail-oriented young coach for a USL Support Coach role with a Continued Education Opportunity. This graduate assistant–style role blends daily coaching responsibilities with essential equipment coordination duties, offering full immersion across the club’s USL programs.
This role will work across the USL League One First Team, USL W, and USL U20s.
Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
Ideal opportunity for recent college graduates, including those on an OPT visa.
A college scholarship is included to support ongoing education while gaining professional experience.
Primary Responsibilities – Coaching (USL League One, USL W, USL U20s):
- Support the Head Coach and technical staff in planning, delivering, and evaluating training sessions.
- Assist with individual, small-group, and positional coaching.
- Coach and support USL W and USL U20s teams in training sessions, matches, and seasonal programming.
- Contribute to matchday operations including warm-ups, bench setup, and technical area management.
- Film training and matches; support basic video tasks such as uploading, organization, and simple coding.
- Uphold professional standards and contribute to a competitive culture across all USL programs.
Supporting Responsibilities – Equipment Coordination:
- Lead setup and breakdown of all training equipment each day.
- Maintain and organize balls, bibs, cones, GPS devices, hydration gear, and uniforms.
- Prepare equipment and kits for home and away matches.
- Assist with laundry workflows and ensure gear is ready for all teams.
- Pack, transport, and manage equipment for travel and game operations.
- Work closely with technical staff to meet all equipment-related needs.

Requirements:
- Coaching experience (youth, college, amateur, or similar).
- High-level playing experience (college, semi-pro, or professional preferred).
- USSF C License or higher, or currently working toward the USSF C License.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States (including OPT visa candidates).
- Strong work ethic and willingness to take on a variety of coaching and operational responsibilities.
- Ability to perform physical tasks related to field setup and equipment movement.
- Organized, reliable, and enthusiastic about learning in a professional environment.
