Position Summary:
The Chattanooga Red Wolves are seeking highly motivated college students passionate about sports performance and eager to gain hands-on experience in a professional soccer setting. This unpaid internship is for college credit only. The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative, a willingness to learn, the ability to multi-task, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Internship Term
  • Positions available immediately through November 30, 2025 (end of season)

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Athletic Development and Performance staff with daily training objectives.
  • Support the collection, analysis, and distribution of player performance and technology data as directed.
  • Assist with injury prevention exercises and activities.
  • Support both on-field and gym-based training sessions.
  • Help with set-up and break down of training equipment for both field and gym activities.
  • Assist with and support player recovery and regeneration strategies.
  • Support team nutritional needs under the guidance of the team’s Sports Dietitian.
  • Assist with other tasks as required to support daily training operations.

Desired Qualifications

  • Strong interest and knowledge in soccer and sports performance.
  • Technologically proficient, including competency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong communication skills, willingness to learn, and a hard-working attitude.
  • Preferred: Knowledge in exercise physiology, sports nutrition, and/or related fields.
  • Preferred: Currently certified or working towards CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist).

Requirements

  • This is an unpaid internship for college credit only.
  • Must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Exercise Science, Strength & Conditioning, Kinesiology, Biomechanics, Human Performance, or a related field.
  • Availability of 20–25 hours per week, primarily in the mornings, early afternoons, and some weekends.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment as needed.
