Description:
The Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC and Highmark Stadium is seeking game day staff who are interested in expanding their knowledge of game day management within a professional sports venue. This is a game day/event-only position with hourly pay. Game day staff may also have the opportunity to pick up additional office hours if they become available.
Responsibilities:
Gameday staff will be required to work on gamedays and event days. The main responsibilities of Gameday staff include but are not limited to:
- Scanning tickets
- Directing fans to their proper seats and answering any questions
- Stadium Cleanliness
- Parking Management
- Waste Management
- Monitoring the Tailgate Zone
- Other duties as assigned
Desired knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Background or interest in ticketing, event operations, food and beverage, hospitality, stadium operations, business, or customer service-related fields
- Willing to work non-traditional hours (weekends, evenings, etc.)
- Must be able to walk/stand for extended periods
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented and enthusiastic about working within a sports-related environment
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Ability to problem solve under pressure
- Experience in event operations
- Knowledge of Ticketmaster and Sales systems are a plus
