About AV ALTA FC
Antelope Valley's new USL League One men's professional soccer team. AV ALTA FC will kick off its 2025 Inaugural Season in the newly renovated Lancaster Municipal Stadium on April 5, 2025. The team will host approximately 18 home games. Learn more at AVALTAFC.com.
About the Position
Want to know what it is like to work in sports and add professional sports experience to your resume? Being a part of the AV ALTA FC Street Team is your opportunity. The Street Team will be integral to the growth of the team by interacting with the community, providing information and collateral as well as opportunities for fans and followers to engage the club. As a Street Team Member, you will have opportunities for valuable game day experience, join us at regional events, engage with front office staff and ownership, and be the first to know of opportunities to work full-time in sports including future opportunities as the team grows its front office and staff.
Skills Required:
- At least 18 years of age.
- Ability to lift at least 20 lbs without assistance.
- Ability to be mobile during the duration of your scheduled shift; this is not a desk job.
- Friendly and outgoing personality who enjoys engaging and meeting new people, along with asking them questions.
- Ability to verbally communicate with customers in English; Spanish is preferred but not required.
- Capability to work both independently and with a team.
- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment.
- Punctual to shifts with the flexibility to work select weekends and evenings.
- Experience in sales, promotions or hospitality is preferred, but not required.
- Must have transportation, a good driving record, and a valid driver’s license.
Your responsibilities would look like:
- Facilitate activation at events, while providing superb customer service and excitement about the organization, including sharing info on team tickets, merchandise, or promotions.
- Have a working knowledge of U.S. and international soccer, team promotions, and current ticket or marketing programs (training will also be provided).
- Distribute collateral during events and promotions, as well as secure sales leads.
- Assist in set-up and breakdown of interactive tent and event display at events.
- Commit to working the AV ALTA FC grassroots schedule which includes, but is not limited to, at least (2) two events per month.
- Take images at AV ALTA FC events with a mobile device to be shared on social media (training will also be provided).
- Assist at player appearances and community events as needed.
