COMPANY INFORMATION:   
USL Antelope Valley is one of four expansion teams that will begin play in March 2025 in USL League One, bringing the league to 16 teams. USL Championship and USL League One make the USL the largest professional men’s soccer league in the United States. The Antelope Valley is an untapped soccer hotbed in north Los Angeles County, with thousands of youth players and many thousands more supporting the game at all levels. The City of Lancaster is proceeding with a plan to convert the stadium from baseball to a 5,300 seat soccer specific-stadium, only the fourth professional soccer-specific stadium in Southern California. With the official name, colors and crest to be launched in May 2024, USL AV will unite the many diverse communities of the Antelope Valley.

Job Summary: 
Senior Manager, Partnership Activation is a full-time position leading the corporate partnership activation team. This individual will be responsible for marketing integrated corporate partnership programs that incorporate all soccer and stadium-controlled assets. These assets would include, but not limited to, traditional in-stadium signage, in-stadium and community activations, broadcast and Internet. The Senior Manager, Partnership Activation will manage and oversee the entire service and activation process from the  the execution of the contractual agreements with the corporate partners. He or she will also be responsible for creating marketing partnership proposals, sales retention, corporate activation, and customer service. 
 
Reports to: President/GM of Club
 
Responsibilities:
Lead the development and implementation of strategic departmental plans consistent with company business objectives
Responsible for achieving established sales retention goals and budgets 
Responsible for activating, upselling, cultivating, maintaining and renewing sponsorships, advertising, and corporate partnerships for a professional soccer team and stadium
Develop, write and present corporate sponsorship proposals to key clients
Responsible for overseeing customer service and activation of corporate partners
Interface with ticket sales, marketing, broadcasting and accounting on internal systems and processes related to sponsorship fullfilment and payment 
Other duties as assigned
Required Skills:
Prior experience activating multi-faceted advertising and sponsorship platforms to local, regional and national companies. 
Strong project management skills  
Prior experience developing, writing and presenting sales retention proposals and client year end reviews
Prior experience with creating and implementing budgets 
Strong conceptual and strategic skills, and ability to think “outside the box,” and strong customer satisfaction orientation 
Strong leadership skills 
Demonstrate creativity in the development of innovative and effective activation campaigns 
Demonstrate ability to work with all personality types at the staff and management levels 
 Strong computer skills, specifically in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. 
Excellent writing and language skills 
Excellent communication skills 
Public speaking and presentation skills 
Strong organizational skills 
Ability to Multi-task is essential 
Required Qualifications 
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred   
Minimum of 2 years of corporate sales activation experience
Proven track record of personal and team achievements, with the ability to “make things happen” 
Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required and travel as needed 
Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds when setting up/tearing down sponsor activations
Bilingual (English & Spanish) a plus
Compensation:
Salary Expectations: $60,000-$80,000  *Flexible based on experience and team bonuses*
