Summary:
The Corporate Sales Executive is responsible for generating new business by selling corporate sponsorships, promotions, advertising, facility rentals and tickets. This position is also responsible for building relationships with current clients and renewal of existing agreements.
Responsibilities:
- Meet or exceed weekly, monthly, and yearly sales goals
- Research, develop and manage a list of potential new partners
- Build and foster relationships with past, current and potential new clients
- Network and build relationships in Omaha and the surrounding region
- Make sales calls to area organizations and follow up as necessary
- Create and develop comprehensive proposals and presentations to meet clients’ objectives
- Proactively create opportunities for new business with existing customers
- Set appointments, show seats, and give stadium tours with the intent to close business
- Represent the organization at in-house stadium events and off-site community events promoting ticket sales and the organization
- Maintain records of all customers and prospects by utilizing CRM tool
- Coordinate with other departments to organize and implement large/group theme nights
- Work with the front office team to achieve the objectives of the advertising sales, marketing, tickets and community relations departments
- Collaborate and interact with sponsor to implement sponsorships and contract fulfillment
- Provide excellent customer service and care to all customers and prospects
- Other duties may be assigned
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Marketing, Marketing, Business or related field preferred
- Knowledge of the game of soccer
- At least three years of prior sales experience preferred
- At least two years of experience negotiating contracts preferred
- Ability to present sales material to potential clients
- Ability to lead and collaborate in a team environment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to solve problems quickly
- Attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good working knowledge of computer programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet and database programs
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive for organizational business
- Ability and willingness to work varied and long hours including nights, weekends and holidays
Preferred fluent in ChatGPT or another AI tool or will learn ChatGPT or another club-preferred AI tool
Working Conditions:
This job operates in an office environment located at a ballpark. This individual routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones and copiers. During games and events, this individual may be exposed to extreme weather conditions.
