Job Title: Field Conversion Crew

Job Summary:
The Field Conversion Crew is responsible for supporting the Facilities Team in transforming synthetic turf fields to meet the visual and performance standards of the Tampa Bay Sun Football Club & Gainbridge Super League. The primary responsibility involves removing football lines and markings to deliver a clean, uniform playing surface suitable for league competition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation, cleaning, and transformation of turf fields by removing painted football lines.
- Operate tools, machinery, or equipment (e.g., turf groomers, line removers, scrapers) as needed to safely and effectively clean the surface.
- Follow detailed instructions and safety procedures to maintain field integrity and appearance.
- Coordinate with Facilities staff to meet tight conversion schedules and deadlines.
- Ensure work areas are left clean, safe, and ready for use.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleanup of tools and materials used during conversions.
- Communicate any issues or damage to the turf promptly to the Facilities Coordinator.
- Support other event setup or teardown tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in turf management, groundskeeping, or field operations is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing physically demanding work.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, late hours, weekends, and holidays depending on event schedules.
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
