Position Overview:
Tampa Bay Sun FC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Facilities Operations Assistant to support our growing team. This individual will play a key role in assisting with facility maintenance, match day operations, and cross-departmental collaboration. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and passionate about sports operations and logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support day-to-day administrative and operational tasks for both the team training facility and Riverfront Stadium.
- Help coordinate and lead facility upkeep including preventative maintenance, field painting, and other projects at both the training facility and Riverfront Stadium.
- Organize and contribute to ongoing and long-term projects that improve team facilities and operations.
- Aid in match day preparations, ensuring smooth execution of both set up and breakdown of match days
- Execute other duties as assigned by the operations staff or management team
- Must be able to work gamedays and special events
Qualifications:
- Strong interest in sports facilities, operations, or a related field.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Ability to lift up to 100lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Must have a reliable source of transportation.
- Must be able to pass all backgrounding screenings.
- Professional, positive attitude and strong communication skills.
