ABOUT THE POSITION
Tampa Bay Sun FC is Tampa Bay’s first professional women’s team! We are kicking off our inaugural
season on August 18th and are looking for box office staff to assist with our ticket operations on game
days!
JOB SUMMARY
- Assist customers by selling admission tickets.
- Accept payment and make change before giving tickets to customers.
- Provide accurate answers concerning events, tickets and schedules of upcoming events in person or on the telephone.
- Ability to deal tactfully, helpfully and professionally with the public to provide event information and accurately complete ticket transactions.
- Balances cash and receipt drawer with manager at the end of each shift.
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends – event by event basis.
QUALIFCATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- SeatGeek knowledge, preferred but not required.
- Box office experience, preferred but not required.
- High School diploma or G.E.D. required
- Excellent organization skills.
- Ability to work with limited supervision and as a team member.
- Ability to work weekends and nights on an event to event basis.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Bilingual, preferred but not required.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT
- Must be able to pass all background and safeguarding checks.
- Strong customer service skills
- Professional presentation, appearance and work ethic.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have some computer knowledge.
