Marketing Coordinator
Type: Full-time
Reports to: Head of Marketing / VP of Marketing
About the Role
Dallas Trinity FC is looking for a detailed Marketing Coordinator who keeps projects moving day-to-day so game week runs smoothly and on schedule. You’ll connect marketing, social, and ticketing workstreams, keep timelines clear, and ensure assets (especially for title/theme nights) are prepped, printed, delivered, and ready.
What You’ll Do
- Keep the plan moving: Maintain a shared weekly “comms grid” with deliverables, owners, due dates, and links. Update statuses and nudge owners as needed.
- Game-week readiness, every week: Work steadily on upcoming matches (title nights, promos, giveaways) so assets are done early, prepped for socials, and staged for install.
- Title/Theme nights: Build simple timelines/checklists (giveaways, promo codes/links, PA reads, social/email placements) and keep each item on track.
- Printed assets: Prep programs, posters, flyers, seat tags, coupons, wayfinding, concourse signs; export print-ready PDFs (bleed/CMYK/PDF/X).
- Vendors & deliveries: Request quotes, manage proofs, track shipments, and confirm delivery windows; keep a live print tracker (specs/qty/status/cost).
- Inventory & staging: Track on-hand signage and materials; label and stage bins by gate/booth with counts and maps for fast installs.
- Weekly newsletter: Plan, draft, and send a simple Tuesday newsletter (next match info, giveaway spotlight, merch corner, fast links). Keep lists tidy, links accurate, and content timely—no heavy analytics required.
You Have
- 1–3 years in marketing/events/communications (internships count).
- Excellent organization and follow-through; you thrive on checklists and clear hand-offs.
- Comfortable with Canva/Adobe basics, Google Workspace/Office, and a task tool (Asana/Trello/Notion).
- Clear written communication with teammates and vendors.
- Able to work some evenings/weekends on match days and handle event materials.
Nice to Have
- InDesign/Illustrator for simple signage layouts.
- Experience coordinating volunteers/street teams.
- Familiarity with Mailchimp, WordPress/Shopify, and social schedulers.
What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days)
- A living comms grid that keeps marketing/social/ticketing deliverables moving without meetings.
- A reusable Title Night pack (timeline, print specs, install map, run-of-show copy).
- Three home matches delivered with on-time installs and clean, simple post-match notes.
