Position Overview
The Director of Corporate Partnerships is responsible for identifying, pitching, closing, and managing all sponsorship and corporate partnership opportunities tied to the club and stadium. This includes signage, digital, broadcast, hospitality, community programs, and game day activations. This person will lead the full sales cycle—from prospecting and proposal development to execution and renewal.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of corporate partnership sales and activation.
- Develop new revenue through strategic outreach and relationship building with local, regional, and national brands.
- Build customized sponsorship packages that include digital, social, signage, in-game, and community assets.
- Create and present professional partnership proposals that align with brand goals and deliver clear ROI.
- Oversee fulfillment and day-to-day communication with partners to ensure a high level of service.
- Work closely with internal departments to execute partnership deliverables.
- Track sales pipeline, renewals, and activations. Maintain detailed CRM records.
- Represent the club at networking events, meetings, and industry functions.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in sponsorship sales, sports marketing, or business development.
- Proven ability to secure and grow revenue through long-term client relationships.
- Comfortable building and delivering presentations to executive-level decision-makers.
- Experience with digital and social media sponsorships, as well as traditional assets (signage, hospitality, etc.).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office. Experience with CRM platforms preferred.
