Position Overview
Dallas Trinity FC is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Assistant Soccer Coach to support the Head Coach in all aspects of player development, match preparation, and team operations. The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of the game, a player-centered coaching philosophy, and the ability to foster a high-performance environment rooted in trust, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Training & Tactical Preparation: Partner with the Head Coach to design and deliver training sessions that address technical skill development, tactical awareness, and physical conditioning. Contribute to match preparation including opponent analysis and game-day execution.
- Player Development: Provide targeted, individualized coaching and constructive feedback to support each player in reaching her full potential. Identify areas for growth and collaborate on personalized development plans that align with both individual and team objectives.
- Player Relations & Mentorship: Cultivate a culture of respect, trust, and open communication within the squad. Serve as a mentor and resource for players both on and off the field, supporting their growth as athletes and individuals.
- Community Engagement: Actively represent Dallas Trinity FC in the community through youth clinics, outreach initiatives, and public appearances, reinforcing the club's commitment to the sport and the surrounding area.
- Professional Development: Maintain current knowledge of evolving coaching methodologies, sports science, and player psychology. Pursue ongoing education and relevant coaching certifications to continuously elevate your practice.
Qualifications
- Previous coaching experience at the professional, collegiate, or academy level strongly preferred
- Demonstrated success in player development and competitive performance outcomes
- Strong foundation in soccer tactics, strategy, and team dynamics
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse groups of athletes
- USSF "A" License preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Sports Science, Kinesiology, or a related field preferred
- Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Working Conditions
This role involves frequent travel for matches and tournaments, including weekends and holidays. The Assistant Coach will work primarily in outdoor environments across varying weather conditions and may be required to actively demonstrate drills and technical exercises on the field.
