Account Executive
Reports To: Director of Sales

Overview

The Account Executive is responsible for generating revenue and achieving sales goals through new season ticket and group ticket sales. This role requires a self-motivated, positive, and professional individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The Account Executive will work under the direction of the Director of Sales, offering a full menu of ticket packages, including season memberships, partial season plans, and group sales.

Responsibilities

  • Sell a variety of seating options, including Season Memberships, Partial Season Plans, and Group Tickets.
  • Conduct sales calls to potential customers through provided leads, prospecting, cold calling, and referrals.
  • Maintain accurate client and prospect records using CRM software (Salesforce).
  • Utilize the ticketing platform (Paciolan) to present and secure seat selections for clients.
  • Participate in and contribute to weekly sales meetings.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients to enhance customer service and retention.
  • Assist with administrative ticket functions as needed.
  • Support special projects and duties assigned by the Director of Sales and/or Ticket Operations Manager.
  • Schedule and conduct in-person and off-site sales appointments.
  • Work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, events, and game days.
  • Meet or exceed assigned activity and performance metrics, including calls made and appointments set.
  • Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Essential Functions

  • Develop and implement annual business plans and sales strategies for Membership Sales (B2B, Consumer, and Full Season Equivalents) and Group Sales to ensure revenue targets are met or exceeded.
  • Establish and monitor ticket sales performance objectives and revenue goals, creating tracking systems to ensure progress.
  • Plan and execute sales campaigns for Season Ticket Memberships, Mini Plans, Flex Vouchers, and other offerings through targeted events, lead generation, and sales technology.
  • Lead group sales strategies, including themed nights, promotions, ticket packages, VIP and premium group offerings, and game-to-game targeting initiatives.
  • Provide direct oversight, coaching, and mentoring to Sales Executives (Group Sales, B2B) to drive performance and results.
  • Collaborate with internal departments—Analytics, Ticket Operations, Marketing, Game Presentation, Events, Partnerships, PR, and Guest Services—to maximize ticket sales opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
  • 1–2 years of sales experience preferred; prior professional league ticket sales experience strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional demeanor with a positive, team-first attitude and competitive drive.
  • Proven ability to prospect, cultivate leads, and close sales.
  • Comfortable handling high volumes of outbound and inbound calls and emails.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with Salesforce and Paciolan (or similar CRM/ticketing platforms) preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively with C-level executives and high-value clients.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and game days as required.
  • Strong work ethic and desire to build a career in professional sports.
Compensation
$40,000 annually
