Overview of Sarasota Paradise
Sarasota Paradise is a premier destination offering an unforgettable experience to locals and visitors in the Sarasota area. We strive to create joy and memories for all of our guests through community soccer. We are looking for a creative, motivated, and detail-oriented Videography Production Intern to join our team and help capture the excitement of Sarasota Paradise on and off the field. This role would work directly with the Digital Media team and provides an excellent introduction to sports media production.
Internship Purpose
As a Videography Production Intern at Sarasota Paradise, you will play a key role in producing dynamic video content that connects our team with fans. The purpose of this role is to capture, edit, and deliver high-quality video content for use across social media, marketing campaigns, and in-stadium experiences. Interns will gain hands-on experience in sports videography and digital storytelling while building a professional portfolio. This is an unpaid internship.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Film live game day action, fan experiences, and community events.
- Capture behind-the-scenes content with players, staff, and supporters.
- Edit videos for social media, website, and promotional campaigns.
- Assist in creating short-form content optimized for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Organize and manage video files and archives.
- Support the setup and breakdown of video shoots.
- Collaborate with the Digital Media team to brainstorm creative content ideas.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Participants must be working towards a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, or a related field, and must certify that they can receive college credit from an accredited institution.
- Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
- Strong creative storytelling skills and attention to detail.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a “team-first” mentality with eagerness to learn.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends for home games and events.
- Experience filming sports or live events is a plus, but not required.
