Position Summary
Sarasota Paradise is seeking passionate, player-centered coaches to join our growing Youth Academy and help develop the next generation of players on Florida's Gulf Coast.
The Youth Academy Head Coach is responsible for planning and delivering age-appropriate training sessions, coaching academy teams during league and tournament competition, and creating a positive, challenging environment that promotes technical growth, tactical understanding, and personal development.

Coaches are expected to represent Sarasota Paradise with professionalism and serve as positive role models for players, families, and the community.
Primary Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct engaging, age-appropriate training sessions in accordance with the Sarasota Paradise player development curriculum.
- Lead assigned academy teams during league matches, tournaments, showcases, and club events.
- Foster a positive, disciplined, and inclusive team environment.
- Evaluate player performance and provide regular feedback to players and families.
- Maintain player attendance, communication, and developmental records.
- Collaborate with Academy leadership to ensure consistency across all age groups.
- Support player identification events, tryouts, camps, and community programming.
- Participate in coach education meetings and professional development opportunities.
- Promote the values and standards of Sarasota Paradise on and off the field.
- Assist with special events and club initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
Preferred
- USSF C-License or higher coaching license
- Experience coaching in MLS NEXT, ECNL, USL Academy, or other high-performance environments
- Goalkeeping, strength & conditioning, or performance analysis certifications are a plus
- Experience using coaching technology and video analysis platforms
- Previous coaching experience with youth soccer players
- Strong understanding of player development principles
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work evenings and weekends
- Valid driver's license
- Successful background screening
