Position Type: Part-time, seasonal
Schedule:
Hours will vary based on team schedule and operational needs. This role primarily supports merchandise sales during approximately 20 professional soccer games during our Soccer Season, held from March through mid-November. Games are usually held on weekends. Team members must be available for and commit to a minimum of 16 home games during the season to be considered for this role.
Compensation: $18.00 per hour
Position Overview
We are looking for energetic, reliable, and fan-focused Sales Associates to join our Game Day
Retail Team. This position plays an important role in delivering an outstanding matchday
experience by supporting all merchandise operations—from setup before gates open to sales
during the match and breakdown after the final whistle. As a Sales Associate, you will be a friendly and knowledgeable ambassador for the club, helping fans connect with the team through our merchandise. You’ll engage with customers, share
information about our products and the club, and ensure every fan interaction is positive, efficient, and memorable.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Sales & POS Operations: Process purchases accurately using our point-of-sale system,
including credit card transactions.
Fan Engagement:
Welcome fans, answer questions, and assist with product selection to
ensure a great shopping experience.
Merchandise Setup & Breakdown:
Help prepare merchandise displays before matches
and assist with teardown following games.
Visual Standards:
Maintain a clean, organized, and attractive retail area throughout the
event.
Game Day Experience:
Contribute to a high-energy, fan-first environment that reflects
the spirit of the club.
Qualifications & Requirements
Customer Service Skills: Friendly, enthusiastic, and proactive with a strong service
mindset.
Retail Background: Prior retail or sales experience is preferred.
POS Experience: Comfortable handling transactions and learning new systems.
Dependability: Consistent punctuality and reliability, especially on game days.
Team-Oriented: Able to collaborate, communicate clearly, and adapt in a fast-paced
environment.
Ability to stand and walk for up to 4 consecutive hours outdoors.
Availability to work evenings and weekends, particularly during home games.
Reliable transportation to and from the stadium.
Willingness to perform additional duties as needed.
