San Francisco Glens Soccer Club are looking for a Grassroots Program Director to oversee and grow our Micro Soccer and Recreational Soccer programs. This role is a cornerstone of the club, providing the foundation for player development and instilling a lifelong love of the game in our youngest participants.

About the Role

The Grassroots Program Director will be responsible for designing, managing, and delivering programming for players in Pre-K through 3rd grade. These programs are designed to introduce soccer, teach fundamental skills, develop motor coordination, improve social interaction, and inspire joy through the sport.

The ideal candidate will bring both technical coaching knowledge and a passion for working with young players and families, ensuring that the Glens continue to deliver a fun, accessible, and top-class soccer experience to the San Francisco community.

Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the Glens Micro and Recreational Soccer programs. 
- Design and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum for early-stage players.
- Recruit, train, and support grassroots coaches.
- Communicate effectively with families and community partners.
- Foster an inclusive, supportive, and fun environment for all participants.
- Support overall club operations and help align grassroots programming with the Glens’ player development pathway.

Qualifications
Experience as a youth soccer coach; experience working with players under 10 strongly preferred. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to collaborate with staff, families, schools, and community partners. Passion for grassroots player development and youth advocacy.

Compensation & Application
