Position Summary
Salem City FC is seeking a Video Analyst Intern to support first-team performance analysis during the 2026 USL League Two season.
Match footage will be provided. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality analysis to support coaching decisions, player development, and match preparation.
Academic & Professional Development
This internship may be eligible for college or university credit, depending on the candidate’s academic program. Salem City FC is committed to providing a structured, high-performance environment that supports both practical experience and academic development.
Primary Responsibilities
- Analyze match footage (team and opposition) using club-supported platforms
- Code matches and identify key tactical trends and insights
- Prepare and help deliver pre-match opposition analysis reports
- Produce post-match analysis (team, unit, and individual)
- Support coaching staff with video-based feedback and presentations
- Assist in the creation of individual player development clips
- Contribute to set-piece analysis and reporting
- Maintain an organized and professional video database
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of football tactics and principles of play
- Experience with video analysis software (e.g., Hudl, Veo, Wyscout, Sportscode or similar)
- Ability to communicate analysis clearly and concisely
- High level of organization and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Strong work ethic and professionalism
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in performance analysis, coaching, or a football environment
- Experience creating video presentations and tactical reports
- Playing or coaching background
Professional Development Opportunity

- Compensation: Unpaid - Stipend of up to $1000.
