ABOUT SACRAMENTO REPUBLIC FC:
Sacramento Republic FC is one of the most dynamic and community-driven clubs in American soccer and is entering the most transformational era in its history with the development of a new stadium in the heart of California’s capital city. This project will redefine sports, entertainment, and culture in Sacramento for decades to come. As the Club prepares for this next chapter, design and visual storytelling play a critical role in shaping how the brand is experienced across every touchpoint.
GRAPHIC DESIGNER: OVERVIEW
The Graphic Designer supports the creation and execution of brand-aligned visual assets across Sacramento Republic FC platforms. This role is focused on strong execution, consistency, and attention to detail, while continuing to develop creative skills and contribute to the Club’s overall visual identity.
Working under the guidance of the Senior Graphic Designer and creative leadership, this position plays an important role in bringing campaigns and day-to-day content to life.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and produce creative assets across social media, digital platforms, print, and in-stadium needs.
- Execute established creative concepts and brand standards with consistency and attention to detail.
- Assist in the development of campaign assets and marketing materials.
- Adapt and resize creative for various platforms and formats.
- Collaborate with marketing, content, and retail teams on assigned projects.
- Maintain organized project files and adhere to production timelines.
- Support game day and event-related creative needs as required.
- Continue developing design skills, creative thinking, and understanding of the Club’s brand.
QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience
● Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
● 1-3 years of professional design experience (internships and freelance work included).
Skills & Capabilities
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Strong foundational skills in layout, typography, and composition.
- Ability to follow brand guidelines and execute within an established visual system.
- Strong attention to detail and organization.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude, coachability, and willingness to learn.
WORKING CONDITIONS
● Position based in Sacramento, in office five days per week.
● Occasional evening, weekend, or event-related work may be required.
