The Richmond Kickers Pro Soccer Club, an independent USL League One team located in Richmond, Va., and W League Richmond, an independent USL W League Team located in Richmond, Va., kicking off its inaugural season in 2024, is seeking an outgoing, enthusiastic, and collaborative teammate to join the clubs' digital media department as a full-time Video and Digital Media Producer. The Video and Digital Media Producer will report to the Director of Communications and Digital Media.

Primary Duties

Create original video content for Richmond Kickers and W League Richmond properties.
Create and capture compelling video content ranging from fan experience on matchday, behind-the-scenes access at training, to 1-on-1 player features, and more.
Act as lead producer on production shoots, executing dynamic shoots for a variety of mediums, with consistent high-quality video, audio, lighting, etc.
Edit and finalize video content and motion graphics for the official club websites, social media, paid advertising, and more; optimize video content for different platforms.
Must attend all Richmond Kickers and W League Richmond home matches, be available to work remotely on away games, and attend some team training sessions.
Actively contribute in meetings as a member of the creative team.
Maintain confidentiality.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree with a background in videography, photography, graphic design, or broadcast journalism is strongly desired.
Multilingual (Spanish preferred) abilities are desired, but not required.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Premiere Pro and After Effects is required.
Proficiency in Social Media Platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube is preferred. Basic knowledge of these social media platforms is required.
Proficiency in videography using equipment like mirrorless and broadcast cameras DSLRs is required.
Must have access to a reliable internet connection for any out-of-office work.
Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism within a professional sports environment.
Ability to move up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
Must be able to withstand extreme weather conditions (rain, high temperatures/heat, etc.).
Must be able to perform work requiring extended periods of walking and standing.
Strong writing and computer skills.
Strong editing and proofreading are required.
Ability to work independently and efficiently on a variety of time-sensitive projects.
A high degree of integrity and discretion in dealing with sensitive subject matters.
Knowledge of sports/soccer is preferred, but not required.
Able to work well in a cross-functional team environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
