This is not a relocation-based role - we are seeking individuals who are already embedded in the Treasure Coast and ready to make an immediate impact.

Position Summary
The Port St. Lucie Sports Club is seeking motivated and driven individuals to join our Partnership & Sponsor Sales team as we build the commercial foundation of a professional soccer club ahead of our inaugural season.

This role is designed for early-career professionals looking to grow within sports sales, business development, and community engagement. Depending on experience and individual strengths, candidates will contribute across new business development, partnership sales, and pipeline growth, with the opportunity to evolve into a more specialized role over time.

This is a hands-on opportunity to develop sales skills, build meaningful relationships within the community, and directly impact the growth of a professional sports organization.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Outreach
  • Identify and research local and regional businesses for partnership opportunities; leverage existing relationships and community connections to generate new business; conduct outbound outreach through calls, emails, networking, and in-person visits; build and maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified prospects
  • Present sponsorship opportunities to prospective partners; assist in developing proposals, pitch decks, and presentations; support negotiation and closing of sponsorship agreements
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partners; represent the club at networking events and matchdays; support efforts to integrate the club into the local business community
  • Assist with lead generation, follow-ups, and CRM tracking; maintain organized records of outreach and deal progress; contribute to consistent sales activity and pipeline growth
Local Market Development
  • Serve as a visible and active presence within the Treasure Coast business community
  • Build relationships with local decision-makers, organizations, and community leaders.
  •  Generate partnership opportunities through referrals, networking, and existing relationships
  • Help position the club as a key business and community partner in the market

Qualifications
  • Must be currently located in or have strong, established ties to the Port St. Lucie / Treasure Coast area
  • Existing network within the local business community strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management of related field preferred
  • 1-4 years of experience in sales, marketing or customer-facing roles
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends 
  • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) is a plus 
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Compensation
  • Base salary 35k - 45k + commission structure 
  • Performance-based incentives tied to revenue goals
