JOB SUMMARY 
The Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC is a professional men’s soccer team competing in the USL Championship, the second tier of American soccer. The organization also includes the Pittsburgh Riveters SC, a USL W League women’s team launched in 2025, and the nationally recognized Riverhounds Development Academy. All teams operate out of the AHN Montour Sports Complex and the picturesque Highmark Stadium, located in Station Square along Pittsburgh’s iconic skyline. Highmark Stadium is set to expand to 15,000 in the coming years as part of a $125m renovation and expansion project. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Sell a full menu of ticket options, including season tickets, flex packages, single-event suite rentals, and group outings
  • Consistently meet or exceed all productivity, revenue, and retention goals
  • Generate new business through cold outreach, in-person meetings, networking, and referrals
  • Manage and retain an assigned book of accounts by providing exceptional ongoing service and support
  • Achieve a minimum number of daily touchpoints through a mix of provided leads, prospecting, referrals, networking, and social selling
  • Utilize CRM software to manage sales pipeline and retention accounts, maintaining detailed and accurate records
  • Deliver prompt, thorough, and professional responses to all fan communications, ensuring top-tier customer service
  • Work home games and events at Highmark Stadium, engaging with customers and assisting with event execution
  • Represent the organization at external events, including networking functions, youth sports activities, and community initiatives
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Business Management, Marketing, or a related field
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with a strong desire to build a successful career in the sports industry
  • 1–2 years of sales experience in sports or entertainment preferred
  • Ability to engage and communicate effectively with customers through multiple channels, including phone, digital platforms, and in-person interactions
  • Strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload
  • Demonstrated success in thriving within a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
  • Positive and energetic approach to providing exceptional customer service
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
