Description 
The Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC is a professional men’s soccer team competing in the USL Championship. The organization also includes the Pittsburgh Riveters SC, a USL W League women’s team launched in 2025, and the nationally recognized Riverhounds Development Academy. All teams operate out of the AHN Montour Sports Complex and the picturesque Highmark Stadium, located in Station Square along Pittsburgh’s iconic skyline. Highmark Stadium is set to expand to 15,000 in the coming years as part of a $125m renovation and expansion project. As a leader in professional soccer and community development, we are committed to excellence on the field, recently bringing a 2025 championship victory back to Pittsburgh, and delivering an exceptional fan experience for every guest who walks through our gates. 

The Riverhounds are seeking associates for the Summer 2026 season. This position provides undergraduates with an overall learning experience that creates a solid understanding of the business side of professional sports and entertainment. Pittsburgh Riverhounds associates have the unique opportunity to contribute to the operation of a successful sports franchise. There will be a heavy emphasis on customer service and providing a safe, fun, and overall enjoyable experience for all fans. Our Associates will contribute to our core values of providing affordable family entertainment, growing the game of soccer, and making memories for our local community. The work done during an associate’s time here can lead to more opportunities in the future with the Pittsburgh Riverhounds Organization. This position is for college students using the program for college credit only. 

Objectives 
The Riverhounds Associate Team will serve as brand ambassadors to engage with fans and promote the organization at home games in Highmark Stadium. We are seeking a team of 9 associates beginning in May 2026. All associates will get exposure to ticket sales, corporate partnerships, marketing, merchandise, event operations, and our academy. Associates will be responsible for the development and execution of day-to-day Riverhounds business initiatives. This includes, but is not limited to, game day revenue development initiatives, game day operations, merchandise inventory management and promotions.

Duties & Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to: 
  • Assist with sales initiatives within Ticketing, Corporate Partnerships, and Merchandise, supporting assigned projects, client outreach, and relationship-building efforts, and introductory analytics work
  • Serve on the Riverhounds Game Night Staff, assisting with fan experience and community relations initiatives during home matches while upholding and representing the Riverhounds brand
  • Drive outreach efforts to establish new community partnerships and program collaborations
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement social media content and platform strategy
  • Assist the Director of Stadium Operations by supporting event scheduling, maintaining records for upcoming stadium events, and assisting with stadium maintenance and readiness
  • All other duties as assigned  


Qualifications:
  • Be available for 75% of Riverhounds home games during the Summer term  
  • Excellent customer service and time management skills 
  • Willingness to learn, ask questions, and take initiative in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
  • Be a good teammate, contribute positively to a winning culture, and be respectful
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize under a heavy workload 
  • Develop self and others through strong leadership skills 
  • Passion for Soccer is preferred
