ORGANIZATION
Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC is a professional men’s soccer club competing in the USL Championship, complemented by Pittsburgh Riveters SC, and the nationally recognized Riverhounds Development Academy. Based at Highmark Stadium in Station Square and the AHN Montour Sports Complex, the organization is a cornerstone of Pittsburgh’s soccer community. With plans to expand Highmark Stadium to 15,000 seats, the club continues to be committed to excellence on the field and delivering an exceptional experience for all our stakeholders. 
 
JOB SUMMARY 
The Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC organization is seeking a dynamic Partnership Sales Manager to sell and execute corporate partnerships across Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC, Pittsburgh Riveters SC, Highmark Stadium, the AHN Montour Sports Complex, and the Riverhounds Development Academy. This role focuses on sponsorship sales while also enabling the candidate to generate revenue through the sale of ticket-related offerings and facility rentals. This role is ideal for an aggressive, proactive seller with a proven track record in driving revenue.
 
The Partnership Sales Manager will be responsible for generating revenue through sales activities that include prospecting, cold outreach, relationship management, proposal development, and partnership activation. The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of the Pittsburgh market and strong regional and national brand relationships, with the ability to identify, cultivate, and close mutually beneficial partnerships that align with organizational goals.
 
This individual must be a self-motivated, result-driven professional with demonstrated success in partnership sales and activation. A passion for the sports and entertainment industry is a must. The position reports directly to the Director of Corporate Partnerships.
 
This is a full-time salaried role with commission and bonus opportunities, in addition to benefits including health insurance and paid vacation.
  
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 ·        Achieve individual and team sales goals while meeting daily and weekly activity KPIs 
·        Drive corporate partnership and other revenues across Riverhounds SC, Riveters SC, Highmark Stadium, AHN Montour Sports Complex, and Riverhounds Development Academy 
·        Prospect, research, and develop new business opportunities through cold outreach, networking, trade shows, and relationship building 
·        Sell a range of products, including suite leases, season tickets, group tickets, and facility rentals 
·        Develop, prepare, and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to prospective and existing clients 
·        Manage the full sales cycle across multiple sports and entertainment properties 
·        Execute partnership activation and ensure proper contract fulfillment
·        Build, maintain, and grow strong client relationships within the Pittsburgh and Western Pennsylvania business community 
·        Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and long-term retention 
·        Develop a strong understanding of brand objectives to create impactful, mutually beneficial corporate partnerships 
·        Support gameday operations, including partner activations, client hosting, and other organizational initiatives, sometimes not directly related sponsorships
·        Complete special projects and additional duties as assigned

 QUALIFICATIONS
·        Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred 
·        1–2 years of experience in corporate partnerships sales required 
·        Proven track record of selling integrated corporate marketing partnerships, including high-value assets such as naming rights, venue signage, broadcast, digital and social media, event activations, and community programs 
·        Ability to assess client needs across traditional, digital, and non-traditional marketing channels, and develop customized, results-driven marketing solutions aligned with client goals 
·        Strong multitasking and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment 
·        Highly effective sales presentation and storytelling abilities 
·        Excellent communication skills, with experience engaging clients, senior executives, and cross-functional teams 
·        Energetic and positive approach to client relationships, consistently promoting a strong and professional brand image 
·        Passion for building a career in the sports and entertainment industry
