Job Summary
The Orange County SC Street Team represents the club in the community by bringing energy, enthusiasm, and brand awareness to matchdays as well as events beyond the pitch. Team members engage fans, assist with promotions and giveaways, and help create memorable experiences that grow the OCSC fanbase. This role is ideal for outgoing, reliable individuals who love soccer, teamwork, and building relationships with the Orange County community.
Essential Duties
· Work both on and off-site events (i.e. all home games, special events, sports tournaments, partner appearances, festivals, etc.) to promote OCSC.
· Execute for in game-activations - half-time activities, sponsorship activations, and hyping up the crowd.
· Act as the face of the Orange County SC in Orange County’s diverse community at live events, youth/adult soccer tournaments, and community events.
· Assist with OCSC’s mascot, Gnarly.
· Pass out and discuss promotional and sales collateral at Orange County SC home games and off-site events.
· Assist with the organization and maintenance of the Marketing collateral and storage
units.
· Some photography/capture duties.
· Drive fan engagement and data cultivation at each event.
· Operations-driven in completing proper set up, tear down, and aesthetic activation presentation.
· Candidates must have a flexible schedule for weekdays, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications
· Bi-lingual is a plus.
· Candidates must be able to attend a minimum of 50% of all Street Team events/outreach and all OCSC Home Matches.
· Evening/weekend hours will be required for match and event schedules.
· Candidates must maintain a professional demeanor around entertainment groups and high profile talent.
· Candidates should possess strong organizational skills and a keen attention to detail.
· Candidates must exhibit a personable, professional attitude and work well in a team environment.
· Prior experience with live entertainment/sports/sales is a plus, preferably professional sports.
· Candidates must be high-energy, positive team players and work well with others.
· All members of the Street Team must be able to lift heavy items (up to 40 lbs.) and perform some manual labor.
