About One Knoxville SC One Knoxville SC is a professional soccer club that loves Knoxville, TN. We compete in USL League One and exist to build a more dynamic, more united, more prideful future for our City. In addition to our Men’s professional side, we have a Women’s first team competing in the USL W League, 1,600 Knoxville kids in our youth soccer club, and 2,000+ Knoxville adults participating in our Adult Rec Leagues. We are using soccer to create WINNING experiences for families, fans, and Knoxville.

The One Knox Monsters program plays a key role in introducing young players and families to the Club, its values, and its player development pathway. The One Knox Monsters Coordinator leads the planning, delivery, and growth of all Monsters recreational soccer programs in the Knoxville and Farragut areas, ensuring a high-quality, consistent, and engaging experience for players, parents, and coaches.


PRINCIPAL FUNCTION
The One Knox Monsters Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Monsters recreational soccer programs, serving as the public-facing leader and primary point of contact for families and coaches. This role manages program operations, coach and volunteer leadership, curriculum implementation, marketing coordination, and community partnerships. The Coordinator works closely with Registration, Technical, Marketing, and Youth Club leadership to ensure programs are delivered with excellence and aligned with the One Knox player pathway.


FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Program Oversight
  • Oversee all Knoxville and Farragut children’s recreational soccer programs under the One Knox Monsters brand. 
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Monsters coaches and parents. 
  • Work with the Registrar to ensure programs are posted for registration in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the Technical Director and Foundations Director to design and implement curriculum across all Monsters sites. 
  • Provide program specifications to Marketing and Content leads for seasonal promotion.
  • Establish and manage in-person marketing channels at One Knox professional matches and community events. 
  • Seek and develop partnerships with youth soccer leaders and organizations across the greater Knoxville metro area.

Coach and Volunteer Leadership
  • Recruit coaches and parent volunteers for the Monsters program. 
  • Onboard and train all new coaches and volunteers. 
  • Track hours worked by coaches. 
  • Lead seasonal coach education workshops. 
  • Work with Youth Club Directors to provide additional coaching opportunities for high-potential candidates. 
  • Identify and develop site leads as recreational programs scale. 
  • Ensure coaches and volunteers have the equipment and resources needed to deliver a high-quality program.

Player and Parent Experience
  • Ensure programs are posted for registration at least two months prior to their start date. 
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy of program information across social media, website, and registration platforms. 
  • Provide proactive and detailed communications to parents outlining program expectations. 
  • Respond promptly and professionally to parent questions and concerns before and during each season. 
  • Meet with parents in person to present Club values and outline the pathway beyond the recreational program.


Strategic Planning
  • Collaborate with the club’s leadership team to establish and execute a long-term technical vision.
  • Develop actionable short and long-term plans to achieve the club’s technical objectives.
  • Contribute to overall strategic discussions and organizational development.

Player Identification and Pathway
  • Identify recreational players ready to transition into competitive programming
  • Collaborate with Directors and Coaches to establish opportunities for recreational players to experience the competitive environment
  • Integrate Youth Directors into recreational programs each season to showcase competitive-level operations.

EXPECTATIONS
  • Work schedule is flexible, with an expectation of at least 40 hours per week, including nights and weekends as required by program operations. 
  • Unlimited paid time off is available, provided communication and collaboration with colleagues are maintained. 
  • Remote work is permitted when appropriate, with a balance of in-office and on-field presence expected. 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds for equipment setup and event support. 
  • Work will take place in both office and field environments. Evening and weekend availability is required for games, training sessions, and community events. 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills required. 
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with strong attention to detail. 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
