One Knox Player Operations (equipment manager) Intern
One Knoxville SC is currently looking for motivated individuals to assist the men’s first team with day-to-day player operations. Working under the direction of the equipment staff and coaches, this individual will learn important behind-the-scenes details of supporting a professional team through the week, at practices, and on game days.
Duties include:
- Assisting the equipment managers with daily tasks or needs; planned or unplanned.
- Set up and tear down the practice facility (locker room and field) for players and coaches each morning.
- Prepare locker room and field on game days in accordance with league and stadium regulations.
- Ability to work weekends and mornings.
- 8am-12pm on days for training (usually 3/4 days a week)
- 10am-11pm on Gamedays (Mostly Vol football away days)
- Being flexible in responsibilities and willing to help any department on game days
- Learn how to use a heat press for jersey compliance and gear needs
- Ability to lift 30+ pounds
Flexible class hours area plus, but we can work within your schedule.
Preferable RSM 490 students, but all sport management classes are welcome.
