Position Overview
One Knox Collective is seeking an organized, dependable, and community-minded Operations Intern to support the planning, coordination, and execution of programs and daily operations. This internship provides hands-on experience in nonprofit and community program management, giving interns the opportunity to contribute to initiatives that positively impact the community while developing valuable leadership and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist with planning and developing community programs and events.
- Help organize program materials, schedules, and participant information.
- Support the setup, operation, and breakdown of community events.
- Coordinate supplies, equipment, and resources needed for programs.
- Assist with volunteer and participant check-in, communication, and engagement.
- Help track attendance, program outcomes, and other operational data.
- Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for improving program efficiency and participant experience.
- Participate in team meetings, planning sessions, and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.
- Positive attitude, adaptability, and willingness to learn.
- Passion for community engagement and service.
Preferred Skills
- Experience organizing events, volunteer activities, or community programs.
- Familiarity with project management tools.
- Experience working with diverse populations in community settings.

Compensation
This internship is unpaid and may be eligible for academic credit depending on your institution's requirements.
