About One Knoxville SC
One Knoxville SC is a professional soccer club that is in love with Knoxville, TN. We compete in USL League One and exist to build a more dynamic, more united, more prideful future for our City. In addition to our Men’s professional side, we have a women’s first team competing in the USL W League, 1,600 Knoxville kids in our youth soccer club, and 2,000+ Knoxville adults competing in our Adult Rec Leagues. We are using soccer to create WINNING experiences for families, fans, and Knoxville.
Our Front Office is a team of motivated self-starters who are unflinchingly committed to bettering our City, our Club, and ourselves. We are competitive in succeeding off the field so we can build a winner on the field. We are seeking a Graphic Designer who can bring the One Knox story to life through creative, impactful, and engaging visuals that strengthen our brand and connect with our fans.
PRINCIPAL FUNCTION
The Graphic Designer is responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and producing a wide range of visual materials that support the team’s marketing, communications, and fan engagement goals. This role plays a vital part in developing the look and feel of the One Knoxville SC brand across all digital and print platforms, ensuring that creative output aligns with organizational values and marketing strategies.
FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Creative Design & Branding
- Design and produce compelling visual assets for social media, digital advertising, print collateral, signage, merchandise, and in-stadium activations.
- Maintain consistency and excellence in visual identity across all platforms and campaigns.
- Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications teams to create design concepts that align with strategic goals and fan engagement initiatives.
- Develop and evolve brand guidelines to ensure all materials meet club standards and reinforce brand recognition.
- Content Production
- Work closely with the Photographer/Videographer and Marketing Manager to develop cohesive multimedia campaigns.
- Produce promotional graphics, matchday visuals, sponsor activations, and community engagement materials.
- Adapt creative designs for multiple formats and platforms, ensuring optimization for social, web, and print.
- Collaboration & Coordination
- Support all departments (Ticketing, Partnerships, Community Relations, Operations) with creative needs.
- Collaborate on game-day presentations and in-venue design elements to enhance the fan experience.
- Communicate with vendors, printers, and partners to manage production timelines and quality control.
- Innovation & Development
- Stay current with design trends, sports branding innovations, and digital media tools.
- Experiment with new techniques and technologies to elevate creative output.
- Contribute ideas for storytelling through design to increase engagement and brand impact.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Uphold brand integrity and ensure adherence to league and sponsor design guidelines.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Represent the club’s values in all work and public interactions.
- Other duties as assigned by Marketing leadership.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds for setup/teardown of events or activations.
- Ability to work in both office and stadium environments.
- Regular weekend and evening work may be required during the season.
- Excellent visual, creative, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects preferred).
- Strong time management and communication skills.
- Flexible schedule with ability to work evenings, weekends, and matchdays.
