One Knox Social Adult Rec Summer Operations Intern
About: One Knox Social is an adult recreational soccer division of One Knox SC. The program focuses on inclusive participation, structured league play, and enhancing the adult soccer experience in Knoxville.
Preferred Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, ability to work evenings and weekends, interest in sport operations and facility management, detail oriented and dependable.
Location: Knoxville, TN
May-August (Start Date Flexible)
Hours: 10-20 hours per week
Compensation: Internship Credit
Position Overview:
- Support league and event operations throughout the summer
- Assist with both on field and office based tasks
- Play a key role during weekly league nights
- Help operate The Collective Cup, a one day adult rec soccer tournament
Responsibilities:
- Help manage team check in
- Answer player questions on site
- Support league staff during league nights and events
- Help maintain a positive and organized environment
- Assist with additional operations and planning projects based on individual interests
- Complete weekly office hours
- Scheduling
- Rosters
- Communication
- Event preparation
- Support full day operations for The Collective Cup
- Event Setup
- Team check in
- Field transitions
- Hydration stations
- Event breakdown
- Assist with field setup and takedown
