International Elite Program (IEP Soccer) is a dynamic, multi-faceted sports organization dedicated to youth soccer development through elite programs, competitive leagues, tournaments, and recreational soccer platforms. IEP Soccer operates various entities, including Miami Athletic Club, Yellowstone Premier League, Nigeria Rush, B93, and a broad portfolio of leagues, events, and camps across the U.S. and internationally.
Position Summary
IEP Soccer is seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead and manage the financial health and sustainability of all organizational entities. The CFO will provide financial oversight, planning, and operational execution to ensure financial excellence across the enterprise, including Miami Athletic Club, Yellowstone Premier League, Nigeria Rush, B93, and all associated tournaments, leagues, and programs. This is a senior executive role requiring strong leadership, cross-functional coordination, and a deep understanding of financial management in the sports and events industry.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Leadership
- Serve as the strategic advisor to the CEO and executive team on financial matters.
- Develop and implement financial strategies that support IEP Soccer’s mission and growth goals.
- Provide forecasting, budgeting, and long-term financial planning across all entities.
Financial Management & Reporting
- Oversee and manage the financial operations for all IEP Soccer entities:
- Miami Athletic Club
- Yellowstone Premier League
- Nigeria Rush
- B93
- Tournaments, leagues, camps, and development programs
- Lead budgeting, financial analysis, and regular reporting to executive leadership.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Accounting & Compliance
- Supervise accounting systems, payroll, invoicing, A/P, A/R, and tax filings.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
- Coordinate annual audits and ensure proper internal controls are in place.
Cash Flow & Investment Oversight
- Monitor cash flow across programs and identify areas of opportunity or risk.
- Manage organizational bank accounts, investments, and vendor relationships.
- Support fundraising, grant management, and sponsorship finance strategies as needed.
Team & Vendor Management
- Oversee any internal finance staff, bookkeepers, or external accounting partners.
- Collaborate with department leads and program managers to monitor and manage their respective budgets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of progressive financial leadership experience, preferably in sports, non-profits, or event-based businesses.
- Demonstrated experience overseeing financials for multiple programs, business units, or entities.
- Advanced knowledge of financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, strategic planning, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with multiple revenue streams.
Preferred Traits
- Passion for youth sports and development.
- Experience with league/tournament operations or nonprofit sports organizations.
- Familiarity with sponsorship, donor, or grant financial management.
Compensation: $12,000 - $15,000 annually
