Position: Assistant Coach – USL League Two & USL W League

Location: Miami, Florida
Department: Technical Staff
Reports To: Head Coach
Salary: $500-$1,500 Stipend-based
Duration: No later than May 1 – August 1, 2026
Hours: 15–20 hours/week, plus matchday

Position Summary:
The Assistant Coach will work closely with the Head Coach to support all technical and tactical aspects of the team. This role includes leading training segments, contributing to game planning, assisting with player development, and supporting overall team operations during the USL League Two & W League season. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about fostering a high-performance culture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the planning and execution of all training sessions and match preparation
  • Lead small-group and positional drills as directed by the Head Coach
  • Analyze training and game footage to provide feedback and adjustments
  • Support tactical implementation, including opponent scouting and in-game adjustments
  • Maintain positive player relationships and help manage player discipline and motivation
  • Collaborate with the Goalkeeper Coach, Performance Coach, and Video Analyst to ensure integrated preparation
  • Assist with logistical duties (equipment setup, travel, and scheduling)
  • Represent the club with professionalism and uphold team standards both on and off the field

Preferred Qualifications:
  • USSF Coaching License (or equivalent coaching certification); “C” preferred
  • Previous coaching experience at the college, academy, or semi-pro level
  • Strong knowledge of player development, game models, and tactical systems
  • Familiarity with video analysis tools (e.g., Hudl, Wyscout) and session planning platforms
  • High-level communication and leadership skills
  • Playing experience at a collegiate, semi-pro, or professional level preferred
  • CPR/First Aid certification required
