Loudoun United FC Street Team Internship
Position Summary
Loudoun United FC is seeking energetic, outgoing, and creative individuals to join our Street Team Internship. This hands-on opportunity is designed for students and aspiring sports professionals looking to gain real-world experience in sports marketing, fan engagement, event promotions, and content creation.
As a member of the Street Team, you'll play a key role in growing the Loudoun United brand throughout Northern Virginia by promoting matches, engaging with the community, and helping create memorable fan experiences. An individual may qualify for college credit if permitted by their college or university. Loudoun United FC will work with eligible interns and their academic institution to complete any required documentation, learning objectives, evaluations, and verification of hours.
Responsibilities
- Represent Loudoun United FC at community events, festivals, tournaments, and appearances.
- Promote upcoming matches, ticket offers, and club initiatives.
- Assist with game day activations and fan engagement at Segra Field.
- Interact with fans and community members while serving as an ambassador for the club.
- Capture photo and video content for social media and digital marketing.
- Assist with promotional campaigns and grassroots marketing efforts.
- Support marketing staff with special events and community outreach.
- Help distribute promotional materials and build awareness throughout Loudoun County.
- Contribute creative ideas for fan engagement and marketing initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Passion for sports, soccer, marketing, or event management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable engaging with the public.
- Creative mindset with an interest in social media and digital content.
- Reliable, professional, and self-motivated.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and match days.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
