Position: Soccer Coach
Location: Leesburg, VA
Position Type: Part-Time, Yearly (Spring 2026-Fall 2026)
Virginia Revolution Soccer Club, located in Leesburg, VA, is a leading youth soccer organization committed to developing players of all skill levels in a fun, engaging, and competitive environment. Our club programs, including Academy and Academy Select, serve players from kindergarten through 6th grade and provide a strong foundation in technical skills, game understanding, and a lifelong love for the sport.
We are seeking motivated, knowledgeable, and positive coaches to join our staff for the current Spring season. If you are passionate about player development and want to make a meaningful impact in youth soccer, we invite you to be part of our team.
Responsibilities:
- Coach a team of players twice weekly (weekday practices) and on Saturday mornings for games.
- Create a fun, engaging, and age-appropriate environment aligned with the club’s player development model and curriculum.
- Lead sessions that foster creativity, teamwork, and confidence in young players.
- Arrive prepared for each session, including set-up and breakdown of equipment and fields.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with players and families regarding schedules, cancellations, and player feedback.
- Foster strong relationships with players, supporting their individual development while maintaining a positive team culture.
- Serve as a positive role model on and off the field, demonstrating sportsmanship, empathy, and professionalism.
What We’re Looking For:
- Passion for working with children and developing young players in a fun, supportive environment.
- Punctual, reliable, and organized with strong communication skills.
- Ability to follow and deliver the club’s curriculum with enthusiasm and adaptability across both recreational and developmental-level players.
- Prior coaching experience (preferred, but not required).
- USSF Grassroots, D License, or equivalent (preferred but not required).
- Must pass background check and complete SafeSport certification.
Schedule:
- Weekday training options:
- Monday & Wednesday
- Tuesday & Thursday
- Friday
- Saturday mornings: Game days between 8:00am–1pm
- Season runs from late March through early- June
