Business Development Representative (BDR)
About the Role
The Business Development Representative (BDR) generates new business opportunities through outbound outreach and qualified lead development. This role is focused on building pipeline for Account Executives across sponsorships, ticketing, events, and youth programming.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct high-volume outbound outreach (calls, email, LinkedIn)
- Identify, research, and qualify prospective partners
- Schedule qualified meetings for Account Executives
- Build targeted prospect lists based on club commercial priorities
- Support marketing campaigns with outreach and follow-up
- Maintain accurate CRM notes, statuses, and next steps
- Prepare AEs with prospect background before meetings
- Attend matches and community events to identify prospects
- Collaborate closely with AEs on meeting quality and handoff
What You Won’t Do
- Negotiate pricing or deal terms
- Create or deliver proposals
- Close deals or manage accounts after handoff

Primary KPIs
- Qualified meetings booked
- AE acceptance rate
- Pipeline value created
- Lead conversion rates
- Daily outbound activity
Quality Metrics
- CRM accuracy & data hygiene
- Speed of follow-up
- Collaboration and communication with AEs
- Effectiveness at events and activations
- Professionalism with prospects and internal stakeholders
First 30 Days Targets
- 10–15 qualified meetings booked
- 60–80 outbound touches per day
- 100% CRM accuracy
- Strong communication rhythm with AEs
- Understanding of club sponsorship, ticketing, events, youth programs
