Position Overview:
  • The parent company of the Long Island Rough Riders soccer franchise (Globall Concepts) seek Part-Time Sports Facility Supervisors with the ability to expand to full-time employment based on performance and employee's employment endeavors.

 Job Purpose
  • Supervise rentals and athletic programs at Globall Sports Center in Nassau County, Long Island.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet all members of the public and answer any general program enquiries, or refer them to the correct staff member and contact information.
  • Check in all participants for all programs operating during work shift.
  • Supervise participants / facility during rentals, programs, games and tournaments etc.
  • Frequently be called upon to account and record business transactions including receiving cash payments and providing receipts.
  • Assist and support the facility manager in day to day operations, reporting league and tournament results, disciplinary action etc.
  • Uses appropriate disciplinary techniques with participants and log all incidents.
  • Effectively interacts and communicates with officials, participants and other employees.
  • Account for and maintain all supplies and equipment.
  • Must be able to remain composed in emergency situations and make sound judgment decisions during emergency and non-emergency situations.
  • Serve as a resource to participants, main a professional manner while on duty.
  • Open and close facility, maintain safety conditions and enforce all facility rules and policies.
  • Keep the field area, office, spectator area and bathrooms clean of garbage and debris. 

Qualifications:
  • Completed or enrolled in a 2-year or 4-year college degree.
  • Must be customer service orientated with a passion for achieving goals and operating within a professional sporting organization.
  • Positive Attitude and strong work ethic are a must.
  • Soccer coaching qualifications preferred but not essential.
  • CPR/AED, first aid qualification preferred but not essential.
  • Ability to speak Spanish preferred but not essential.

Hours:
  • Specific days and times vary based on facility program / rentals and operational needs.

 Compensation Package:
  • Competitive hourly wage commensurate with experience
