About the Role
The Game Day Operations / Tickets Intern will assist the operations team in delivering a professional and engaging matchday experience for fans, partners, and players. This role is ideal for students interested in sports management, event operations, or ticketing.
What You Will Do
- Assist with stadium setup and matchday preparation prior to kickoff
- Support ticketing operations and fan entry areas
- Greet and direct fans, partners, and VIP guests
- Assist with fan engagement activities and promotions
- Support sponsor activations and marketing areas
- Assist staff with general matchday logistics and operations
- Help ensure a safe and organized environment for all attendees
- Support post-match breakdown and cleanup
Qualifications
- Interest in sports management, event operations, or fan engagement
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced event environment
- Availability for evening and weekend matchdays
- Positive attitude and willingness to support multiple departments
Internship Details
- Type: Credit-Based Internship (Unpaid). This internship is eligible for academic credit through your college or university. Students may need to coordinate with their institution for approval.
- Duration: Approximately 3–4 months during the summer season
- Location: Long Island, NY
- Schedule: Matchdays with occasional weekday support
